Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly will resume proceeding today (Monday) after a break of 10 days. The current session is the longest one in the history of the provincial assembly as it had entered into seven consecutive months. Due to the sit-in of the PTI chief Imran Khan against alleged electoral rigging the house was facing shortage of working days. However, with the long session, the house has not only overcome the shortage but had also surpassed it.
The house during the session has passed several crucial legislations and several other awaiting nodes from it. However, on several occasions the house faced the breaking of quorum and the speaker have to adjourn the proceedings of the house till next day.
