Asia-Pacific crude market steady

The Asia-Pacific crude market held steady with most June-loading cargoes committed, while a tender by Thailand's PTT could offer support. Indonesia's Pertamina bought 600,000 barrels of Malaysian Kikeh crude from Shell and 950,000 barrels of Nigerian Escravos from Chevron in a tender for July arrival, traders said.
For term supply between July and December, the Indonesian state energy company will take delivery of 600,000 barrels of Congolese Coco crude each month, traders said. The details of the tenders were unclear. The result of a tender by PTT to supply crude to its Rayong plant in early July was yet to emerge. Malaysia's Petronas sold a cargo of Kimanis crude loading in June to an unnamed buyer at about $4 a barrel above dated Brent, roughly in line with the previous month, according to traders. Russian oil and gas condensate production remained at a post-Soviet record level of 10.71 million barrels per day in April, Energy Ministry data showed on Saturday.
