Through special gap analysis study: priorities being given to revise old curricula: TEVTA chief
Technical and Vocational Training Authority (TEVTA) Chairperson Irfan Qaiser Shaikh has announced that priorities are being given to revise old curricula through special gap analysis study. "This exercise is being done in consultation with stakeholders, especially taking into account the relevant industry through comprehensive survey by using special Tool and Questionnaire, developed for the purpose," he told a meeting reviewing the progress of the Academics Department. General managers Azhar Iqbal Shad, Hamid Ghani Anjum and Abdul Qayyum were also present.
He said that TEVTA had recently conducted Gap Analysis Seminars for Revision of Curricula of 3 Years DAE Instrumentation and Food Technology at Government College of Technology, Railway Road, Lahore and Government. Technical Training Institute Gulberg Lahore respectively. Research and Development Section of TEVTA invited the relevant Academia and Industry experts to get their input.
