City Traffic Police Officer Tayyub Hafeez Cheema met with Chief Executive Officer of Lahore Transport Company Khawaja Haider Latif here on Thursday and discussed traffic related issues. Officer Hafeez has said that while taking certain measures for smooth flow of traffic on various routes of the public transport, the public facilitation places should never be disturbed.
A briefing on Thursday about operations and data collection by the Enforcement department said suggestions by the Lahore Transport Company and the City Traffic Police department would be passed on to a committee set up for illegal mode of public transport. Those also present in the briefing were Chief Operations Officer Omer Pirzada, Enforcement Department Head Chaudhray Shafique Ahmed and Atif Memon.
