ICE Canadian canola futures rose on Thursday, boosted by the weaker Canadian dollar. Overall planting in Saskatchewan, the biggest canola-growing province, is ahead of schedule. Canola seedings 8 percent complete. Most-active July canola added $1.30 to $456.70 per tonne, trading in light volume. The new-crop November canola gained $1.00 to $447.90 per tonne. ICE Futures Canada reported no delivery of May contracts. Expiry for the nearby contract is May 14.
