Two persons were killed when some unknown people opened firing at an Afghan refugee camp in district Hangu on Sunday, sources in police said. They said that armed persons resorted to indiscriminate firing on Babrak Afghan refugee camp in Tehsil Doaba area, resulting into killing of a woman and her relative on the spot. The assailants fled the scene shortly after committing the heinous crime, police added.
A heavy contingent of police rushed to the crime scene and started a search operation in the area. Police said that the attackers would be identified soon in the wake of a search operation continuing in Tehsil Doaba, a locality of district Hangu. Police registered FIR against unknown assailants and started investigation.
