'PTI committed to following EC's rules'

Vice Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Shah Mehmood Qureshi on Monday said that PTI is committed to follow the rules and regulations of the Election Commission (EC). Talking to newsmen outside the office of EC here, he expressed reservations on recent amendments in rules as entry of Parliamentarians was banned in PP-196.
Qureshi said that PTI Chief Imran Khan would address public meeting at the railway ground instead of holding the meeting in PP-196, wherein by-election would be held on May 21. Qureshi maintained that he was an elected MNA from the area and how could he be stopped from contacting to people of his constituency. He said that the EC had accepted request of PTI to depute Rangers on polling day in order to maintain security situation.
