Seed products and Moong prices were higher on the local grain market on Tuesday due to tight supply position, dealers said. On the cereals side, Moong Punjab rose by Rs 250 to 12000, Moong Afghan gained the same amount to Rs 13000, Guwar Sindh quoted at Rs 5800-5900 and Guwar from Punjab at Rs 5000-5200, other commodities maintained last levels, they said.
On the seeds side, rape seeds Nawabshah old picked by Rs 50 to Rs 2000 and Rs 2050, rape seeds Mirpurlane new rose by Rs 100 to Rs 2000 and Rs 2050, cake gained Rs 75 to Rs 1100 and Rs 1125, Til Regular low type rose by Rs 100 to Rs 4500 and the best quality was higher by Rs 200 to Rs 4800, Til normal followed same trend, rising by Rs 150 to Rs 4300, they said. Prices were unmoved on the grams side, they said.
