ISE index down by six points

Bears dominated the proceedings at the Islamabad Stock Exchange (ISE) on Wednesday, where equities showed negative signs under the lead of hot favourite amid decrease in index. ISE Ten Index was down by 6.00 points as the ISE Ten Index moved from 3,704.53 to 3,698.53 points. The overall turnover amounted to 1,300 shares as compared to previous turnover of 9,300 shares.
Total 143 companies participated in buying and selling activity. Majority of stocks (78) closed in negative territory, 65 landed in plus column and zero company remained pegged to its overnight levels. The volume of Engro Fertilizer was 2,000 shares. The volume of Pakistan Petroleum was 1,800 shares. The volume of United Bank was 1,800 shares.
