The Lahore High Court on Monday dismissed an application seeking to quash a drug case against former president Asif Ali Zardari. The case against the former president surfaced when he was in a Karachi jail. The Qilla Gujjar Singh police had also registered the case against two others, Arif Baloch and Shorang Khan, on September 23, 1998. The former president was implicated in the case after a confession by the two men who said the former president was providing them with drugs to smuggle abroad.
