Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Pervez Khattak paid a surprise visit to Mian Rashid Shaheed Hospital, Pabbi District Nowshera on Tuesday afternoon and suspended Medical Superintendent (MS) and Deputy Medical Superintendent (DMS) for their absence from duty.
He directed the Secretary Health to take immediate disciplinary action against the suspended officers and also submit a comprehensive report regarding the missing facilities, necessary requirements and vacant posts of the hospital within one week.
According to details the Chief Minister Pervez Khattak on public complaints visited the Civil Hospital Pabbi without any prior information and inspected the cleanliness condition as well as availability of staff and other facilities.
On this occasion he found the MS Dr Akbar Shah and DMS Dr Samiullah absent from duty and ordered their immediate suspension. The Chief Minister went through the Emergency Unit, Laboratory, Surgical OPD and certain other sections of the hospital and expressed dissatisfaction over dilapidated condition of cleanliness and medical facilities over there.
