Spot basis bids for soyabeans rose at processors around the US Midwest on Tuesday, supported by slow country movement of the oilseed. Processors were looking to boost crushing supplies following weeks of slow sales, dealers said. Elevator bids for soyabeans were mostly unchanged. Corn bids held steady at interior locations but were mixed at river terminals. Dealers said weakness in the futures market chilled growers' interest in booking new sales of either corn or soyabeans on Tuesday.
