Deepika Padukone, Shahid Kapoor to get immortalized
One of the most promising Bollywood actors, Deepika Padukone and Shahid Kapoor, will be the newest addition at Madame Tussauds with their wax figures displayed for the fans.
The others who have a place there are their follow actors Amitabh Bachchan, Madhuri Dixit, Katrina Kaif, Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan. Both the actors, who have recently worked together in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s movie ‘Padmaavat’, took to social networking sites to announce the news to their fans.
In a Facebook live video from the venue, Deepika spoke about how excited she was to become immortalized at the famous wax statue museum. “It is fun, exciting and in a way I feel a lot of gratitude because you know when you give your fans a little more than just the movies, then it’s really, really special. I hope they enjoy it as much as we enjoy creating it,” she said.
Reportedly, the actress statue will be kept in the A-Listers section with the likes of Angelina Jolie and Helen Mirren. Deepika's statue will launch in London in early 2019, while another statue will be unveiled a few months later in Delhi. However, details Shahid's wax figure are yet to be known.

On the other hand, Bollywood actress Anuskha Sharma also recently announced that she is getting a talking wax statue. She is the first ever Bollywood celebrity to get a talking wax statue.
