Umar Akmal getting ripped to make comeback into team

Seems like Pakistan middle order batsman Umar Akmal is not giving up so easily in order to secure a place in the squad, as he is again working hard on his fitness and is breaking a sweat these days.

The controversial batsman was dropped from Pakistan’s Champions Trophy squad in 2017 owing to fitness issues. The Green Shirts, however, went on to win the historic tournament.

In a recent interview, the 27-year-old said he hasn’t given up hopes for return to the team, as he vows to perform well in the domestic cricket.

He last represented Pakistan side was against Australia in January 2017 where he scored 46 runs.

Now a video has emerged on social media, in which Umar can be seen practising kick boxing with his trainer in order to regain fitness.
