Different parts of Pakistan are expected to receive rain on July 25, the day when general elections will be held in the country.

According to a press release issued by Pakistan Meteorological Department, monsoon currents of moderate intensity are expected to penetrate in upper and central parts of the country from Arabian Sea and Bay of Bengal during the election period.

Under the influence of these weather conditions, thundershower with gusty winds is expected at scattered places in Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Lahore, Malakand, Hazara, Peshawar divisions, Islamabad and Kashmir.

Moderate rain-thundershowers are also expected at isolated places in Bannu, D.I. Khan Divisions, Faisalabad, Sahiwal, Multan, D.G.Khan, Bahawalpur, Balochistan's Zhob and Kalat divisions and Gilgit-Baltistan till Sunday.

However, hot and humid weather conditions are likely to prevail in Sindh, remaining part of Balochistan and other plain areas of the country till Thursday.
