On Friday at Pakistan Mercantile Exchange (PMEX) value traded was PKR 2.321 billion as compared to PKR 2.279 billion reported on Thursday, an increase of 2 percent. The numbers of lots traded were 11,380. PMEX Commodity Index closed at 2,731. Major business was contributed by crude oil amounting to PKR 1.145 billion, this was followed by gold (PKR 1.128 billion) and silver (PKR 48 million).
