Rangers on Tuesday carried out a controlled explosion in a bid to defuse explosives recovered from Orangi Town on Monday night during a search operation in the area to flush out terrorists. The explosives were detonated in Manghopir area and explosion was heard far and wide. Police in various areas including Gulshan-e-Iqbal Town started frantic patrolling to determine the site of the blast.
