The legal fraternity carried on with protesting on Wednesday on the third day of the Daska shooting. Lawyers wearing black armbands appeared in courts to condemn the incident and also hoisted black flags on bar premises and staged demonstrations on roads, demanding that the government give the killers the toughest punishment. A general house meeting of the Lahore High Court Bar Association took place, too, where office-holders and senior lawyers made speeches.
The lawyers then staged a protest at the GPO Chowk, with the Lahore Bar Association leading its own from the Aiwan-i-Adle to the Mall amid flags and anti-government slogans.
