A three-member delegation from IMF consisting of Tokhir Mirzoev, Resident Representative IMF; Tasleem Alam, Senior Eco-Economist and S Muhammad Ali, Administrator Officer IMF called on Chief Executive Officer, Pakistan Steel Mills, Major General Zaheer Ahmed Khan (Retd) at Operations Building, Bin Qasim, Karachi.
Wasif Mehmood, Principal Executive Officer, Production, PSM briefed the delegation about the latest situation of the national enterprise. All the senior officers Hamid Pervez, Principal Executive Officer, A & P/Commercial; Absar Nabi APEO, BMR&E/HRD, Captain Shamsi Hassan (Retd) APEO, TS; ACFO, Muhammad Arif Sheikh and others were present during the briefing.
After the briefing the delegation visited the main production units at the plant. Tokhir Mirzoev, Resident Representative IMF gave his sincere gratitude to Major General Zaheer Ahmed Khan (Retd) and his team for a warm reception and an informative tour of the plant. Mirzoev wished all the best for the difficult task being done at PSM. The delegation left after a memento presentation by CEO, PSM.-PR
