Members National and Provincial Assembly of various districts met Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif here on Thursday. Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister said that Punjab government is implementing various public welfare programmes with speed and transparency while high standard will also be ensured. He said that there is a need to display public spirit and work hard for the speedy development of the country.
He said that sincere efforts are being made for resolving energy crisis and elimination of terrorism. He said that the entire nation is united to rid the country of the menace of terrorism. He said that sit-ins of last year created hurdles in the process of national development, however, vigorous efforts are being made for making up time lost due to negative political activities. The Chief Minister said that Muslim League-N government believes in service to the masses. Those who met the Chief Minister included Provincial Minister Tanvir Aslam Malik, Members National Assembly Rasheed Ahmed Khan, Major Tahir Iqbal (Retd), Members Provincial Assembly Malik Ahmed Saeed Khan, Malik Muhammad Ahmed Khan and former MNA Rana Mubasher Iqbal.
