Sherakot Band, Gulshan-e-Ravi: Wasa officials asked to complete work on drainages

Water and Sanitation Agency (Wasa) Vice Chairman Chaudhry Shahbaz Ahmad has told officials to complete current development work on extension and restoration of the Sherakot Band Road Cantonment Drainage and the Gulshan-e-Ravi Drainage before the monsoon season sets in.
The Vice Chairman visited both the drainages on Friday to inspect the restoration and extension works and warned them to observe quality and pace of work. He said those projects would be reviewed on June 15 and be completed before that date. He said no leniency or delay would be tolerated. "The government has set aside a huge sum to the authority for these works so as people could get benefit of it in next monsoon season, which they deserve." Construction and Drainage Directors Muhamamd Yousaf and Iftikhar uddin Naeem, respectively, also accompanied the Vice Chairman.
