ISE index up 33.55 points

Equities moved both ways at the Islamabad Stock Exchange (ISE) on Tuesday, where investors adopted a cautious approach under the lead of hot favourite amid increase in index. ISE Ten Index showed an improvement of 33.55 points as the ISE Ten Index moved from 3,652.87 to 3,686.42 points. The overall turnover amounted to 50,400 shares as compared to previous volume of 54,400 shares. Total 149 companies participated in buying and selling activity.
Majority of stocks (51) closed in negative territory, 98 closed in positive territory, whereas zero company remained pegged to its overnight levels. The turnover of K-Electric was 20,000 shares. The volume of United Bank was 15,000 shares. The volume of PSO was 8,200 shares.
