JI Secretary General Liaqat Baloch has appreciated the Pakistan government's much belated move in support of the oppressed Myanmar Muslims and said that Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Pakistan, Indonesia and Malaysia should make joint efforts to stop the eviction and killings of the Rohingya Muslims. He was addressing a protest rally jointly staged by the JI and the Awami Rickshaw Union to express solidarity with the Rohingya Muslims at Lahore Press Club. He said that it was high time that the world leadership stepped forward to stop this bloodshed of the innocent Muslims. He said that the Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan had promptly reacted to the situation and the other Muslim rulers should follow his example.
