ISE index up 8.83 points

Equities moved both ways at the Islamabad Stock Exchange (ISE) on Tuesday, where investors adopted a cautious approach under the lead of hot favourite amid increase in index. ISE Ten Index showed an improvement of 8.83 points as the ISE Ten Index moved from 3,694.18 to 3,703.01 points. The overall turnover amounted to 105,300 shares as compared to previous volume of 52,500 shares.
Total 151 companies participated in buying and selling activity. Majority of stocks (73) closed in negative territory, 78 closed in positive territory, whereas zero company remained pegged to its overnight levels. The turnover of PIA was 72,000 shares. The volume of K-Electric was 10,000 shares. The volume of Maple Leaf Cement was 5,000 shares. The volume of PICIC Growth Fund was 5,000 shares.
