Syed Tariq Fatemi, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Foreign Affairs, received the German Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs Stephan Steinlein at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Wednesday. Stressing that Pakistan greatly valued its relations with Germany, Tariq Fatemi briefed the visiting dignitary on Prime Minister's vision of a peaceful neighbourhood and highlighted efforts undertaken by the government to eradicate the menace of terrorism and extremism. Global and regional issues were also discussed.
He also stated that Pakistan was an investment-friendly country, which provided opportunities for foreign investors in diverse areas of economy. He urged the visiting dignitary to encourage the German entrepreneurs to invest in Pakistan.-PR
