Parliamentary body on CPEC Shah furnishes six names

Opposition Leader in the National Assembly, Syed Khursheed Ahmed Shah, on Wednesday furnished six names for the establishment of Parliamentary Committee on China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) to the National Assembly Secretariat. The names for the committee are; Mir Aijaz Hussain Jakhrani, Shazia Marri, Aftab Ahmed Sherpao, Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui, Ameer Haider Khan Hoti and Asad Umar, he informed while talking to journalists.
The Parliamentary Committee on CPEC will comprise of 21 members in which 14 will be from National Assembly while 7 from Senate. There will be 8 members from treasury benches and 6 from opposition in the National Assembly. However, in Senate 4 members will be from opposition side and 3 from government in the committee.
