Sindh Rangers on Thursday briefed an anti-terrorism court (ATC) in Karachi that Vice President Fishermen's Co-operative Society Sultan Qamar Siddiqui allegedly used to give a 70% share of the corruption money to the Bilawal House. Sindh Rangers presented Sultan Qamar Siddiqui in an Anti-Terrorism Court in Karachi where judges remanded the accused into Rangers custody on charges of extortion and targeted killings.
Rangers lawyer briefed the court that the accused is involved in several crimes, including corruption and land grabbing. Rangers also said the accused was involved in assisting terrorists. The lawyer also told the court that the accused used to give a 70% share of the money earned from corruption and weapons smuggling to the Bilawal House, the headquarters of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP). The ATC subsequently remanded the suspect into Rangers custody for 90 days.
