DCO Lahore visited Ramazan Bazaar at Model Town Link road and checked quantity and quality of essential commodities. He also went on stalls of diverse essential items and showed his satisfaction on arrangements. He also warned the In-charge of bazaar to ensure availability of better fruits and vegetables in bazaar. On the other hand, DCO Lahore Captain Muhammad Usman revealed that there was better arrangements in all Ramazan Bazaars of the provincial capital today and a tremendous and matchless rush of customers were seen in all bazaars. He said that there was no shortage of any thing in bazaars and customers purchased different essential items, ghee, oil, flour and sugar without any problem.
Usman further said that City District Government Lahore will keep up its this sort of spirit till last day of Ramazan month. On the other hand Price Control Magistrates massively conducted raids in open and critical markets of the city and paid 770 raids on different shops of the city to check the prices of essential commodities. On violation and over charging, 60 shop keepers were arrested.
