Ambassador of Republic of Belarus to Pakistan Andrei Ermolovich with a business delegation visited the office of the Punjab Board of Investment, a follow-up of their president's visit where 20 accords were signed. The Punjab Board of Investment chairman and chief executive officer welcomed the delegation and briefed the guests about the board role and extended co-operation in doing business in the Punjab. Punjab Board of Investment Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Ilyas Ghauri told his guests, "Pakistani products should also be given access to Belarusian market."
He also told the diplomat to connect Pakistani businessmen with potential business partners in Belarus in which he agreed and also praised the board efforts in helping the guests paying a three-day visit to Lahore. Projects Director Dr Suhail Saleem then proposed that a joint Chamber of Commerce and Trade be set up plus a Belarus-Pakistan Business Council to promote trade between two countries. He also talked about the areas for mutual collaboration between both countries such as automobiles, agricultural products, textiles and garments, mining, sports goods, surgical equipment and food items.
