Chief of Jamaat e Islami, Pakistan Senator Sirajul Haq has said that the national institutions could not be strong and function properly unless corruption is controlled. Speaking at an Iftar dinner in the city, he said that corruption has been spread all around and the citizens could not get their lawful acts done without bribing to the concerned officials.
He said that revolt from the path of Allah is the root cause of all social evils as this has ended respect and regard for one another in the society. The JI chief said that poverty, unemployment and lawlessness has plunged the majority of the people into depression and frustration. The high objectives for which the country had been achieved have been pushed into the background and feudal lords acting as lackeys of the British had managed to come to power.
He said that an across the board accountability was essential for putting the country on the road to progress and prosperity. He said that the rulers are treating the masses as untouchables and there is no scheme for the public on the govt agenda. The rulers wanted to squeeze every drop of blood from the body of the poor. He said that the JI was trying its best to free the masses from the clutches of the feudal lords, capitalists and vaderas. Sirajul Haq said that Pakistan is not simply a piece of land. It reminded the unparalleled sacrifices rendered by our forefathers. The JI is striving for the Nizam e Mustafa with the belief that this was the only solution of all our problems.
The JI chief said that the present education system has divided the society into classes. He added that the JI would introduce a uniform education system in which the young ones of a poor worker will get the same education as the wards of the President and the Prime Minister. He said the rulers has discarded the national language and imposed the English language upon the society. He said the JI is not against learning English, but it is against the slavish mentality of the rulers.
