Speaker, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly, Asad Qaiser has said that national development and security is possible only in peace and urged religious cleric to stand by the government in battle to foil the nefarious designs of the enemies spreading religious hatred and sectarianism and to play their due role in the abolition of sectarianism and promotion of religious harmony and brotherhood.
He expressed these views after attending a lecture of Maulana Tayyab in a religious seminary at Panjpir, district Swabi on Sunday. The purpose of attending the lecture of Maulana Tayyab, he said was to join students and Ulema and pray for restoration of peace and harmony in Pakistan and protect the country from internal and external threats.
The Speaker, KP Assembly said that besides, a nuclear power Pakistan is also an ideological state, therefore, we face different kind of enemies and bad wishers, which are busy in nefarious efforts of destabilising it.
He said that enemies is conspiring to weaken our country through spreading religious hatred and sectarianism and fit people of different ideology to achieve their nefarious designs. The challenges faced by the country today were never experienced by the country. Therefore, he appealed the Ulema to stand by the government to play their religious responsibility of abolition of the menace of sectarianism from the country and help promote religious harmony and cohesion in the country.
Asad Qaiser said that the enemies of peace are out to harm peace in the country. Therefore, he said the role of Ulema in the restoration of peace and guaranteeing law and order in the country has special importance.
He said that he had years-long association with the seminary of Panjpir and this religious institute has the honour of serving Quran and Sunnah in the whole country. He said it is the sole non-political institute, which play crucial role in the reformation of the society. He said that 30000 persons are busy learning Quran in the institute. Later, Maulana Tayyab prayed for the peace and security of the Pakistan.
