An election tribunal (ET) on Monday adjourned the proceedings of a petition against Speaker National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq for Tuesday (today) and asked the counsel for Chairman Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf Imran Khan to conclude his arguments on next date of hearing.
On May 30, NADRA had submitted a supplementary forensic report of the NA-122 constituency elect Ayaz Sadiq stating that 5,898 voters out 6,123 could be declared or considered as valid voters which were earlier declared invalid voters by NADRA on the pretext that CNICs of those voters were never issued by the NADRA.
Interestingly, on May 9 last, NADRA had submitted its audit report of NA-122 revealing that only 73,478 out of total 1,84,151 cast votes in constituency NA-122 had been verified which made that 60 percent of the polled votes were not recognisable.
