The Lahore High Court (LHC) on Monday declared a petition filed against former president Asif Ali Zardari seeking his trial under article 6 as inadmissible. A leader of All Pakistan Muslim League Ilyas Gujjar had filed a petition stating that Asif Ali Zardari had used provocative language against Pakistan Army which is against the constitution and harmful to the nation's harmony, therefore, the court order registration of treason case against him.
The court rejected the petition stating that no investigation can be launched against anyone on the basis of accusations only.
