Former MNA from North Waziristan Agency Muhammad Kamran Khan condemned the killing of IDPs by security personnel at Bakka Khel camp and demanded compensation for the affected families. Addressing press conference in Peshawar Press Club, he said that people of tribal areas had rendered great sacrifices for the cause of the country but their sacrifices were not given due reward.
He said that it was tragic incident and the bereaved families should be given due respect due to killing of their sons and parents. He said that the affected families on one hand were languishing in makeshift camps in this scorching heat while on the other hand government was opening fire on them. He demanded early repatriation of the affected families and action against those who were involved in the killing of IDPs.
