Two people, including a woman, were killed and five others injured in a road accident Thursday, police said. Two residents of adjoining mountainous area of Charkapoora lost their lives and five others injured as a jeep skidded of the road and fell into a deep ravine, about 20 km from Muzaffarabad city. The private passenger jeep was on way from Charkpoora to the capital city Muzaffarabad. They deceased have identified as Ulfat Bibi and Kaloo Khan, both residents of Charakpoora, according to the police officer.
The injured were rushed to the Combined Military Hospital (CMH) Muzaffarabad where the condition of two of them is stated to be critical.
