As part of its philanthropic endeavours and an aim to promote education across all segments of society, Dawood Public School recently launched a Summer Camp for the children of its support staff at the school premises. Keeping in view the spirit of Ramadan, this activity has spread smiles on the faces of children enrolled in this camp. These children belong to the age group of 4 to 14 years and are facilitated, during the long hours of summer, with various learning activities ranging from gardening, art work, indoor and outdoor games, storytelling and computer literacy class.
The time duration of summer camp activities is of three hours, followed by a 20 minutes lunch break which is again served by the School. Sharing her thoughts on Summer Camp, Chief Executive Officer of The Dawood Foundation and Trustee of Dawood Public School, Sabrina Dawood said "Since its inception in 1983, Dawood Public School has established itself as one of the leading educational institutes in Karachi that is providing excellent O and A' level education to the girls. This benchmark was achieved through our dedicated teachers and management staff. Through this summer camp we would like to thank our supporting staff and encourage their children in pursuing their dreams through education."-PR
