Citibank N.A., Pakistan in Karachi celebrated its 10th Global Community Day at the Indus Hospital with around 600 patients and their families. Indus Hospital is a state of the art facility that provides health facilities free of cost to everyone. The event comprised of many activities including a CPR workshop, where Citi volunteers were given basic training in life saving techniques. This was followed by face painting for the children and distribution of Iftar boxes to the families of the patients at the hospital. The Citi team broke their fasts with these families and spent time with them, listening to their life stories.
Speaking at the occasion Nadeem Lodhi, CCO & MD Citibank N.A., Pakistan said "As a company, we have shown that our commitment to the communities we serve includes giving our time and energy," he further said that "Global Community Day is now a decade-long tradition of Citi employees, friends and family working alongside community and non-profit partners to help improve our cities and neighbourhoods."
