Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif presided over a high-level meeting on Tuesday in which he reviewed various projects of Health, especially performance of Recep Tayyip Erdogan Trust Hospital Muzaffargarh. Addressing the meeting, Chief Minister said that revolutionary measures are being taken for the provision of quality public health facilities in Punjab. He said that development of health sector is the priority of the government and billions of rupees are being spent on the improvement of public health facilities.
He said that Recep Tayyip Erdogan Trust Hospital set up in district Muzaffargarh of south Punjab with the co-operation of Turkey is providing international standard health facilities to the patients. He said that Recep Tayyip Erdogan Trust Hospital is a splendid gift for the people of south Punjab and its model will be replicated in other government hospitals of Punjab under a programme. The Chief Minister said that the hospital set up at Lidher, Badian Road will also be run on the same model. He said that Lidher, Badian Road Hospital will be equipped with state-of-the-art treatment facilities and this project will result in availability of quality healthcare facilities to the people of the area. He said that Recep Tayyip Erdogan Trust Hospital is providing healthcare facilities and treatment facilities of the same level will also be ensured at Lidher Badian Road Hospital. The Chief Minister welcomed the hospital and medical college project by philanthropists near Jubilee Town. Provincial Minister for Communication & Works Tanvir Aslam Malik, Advisor on Health Kh Salman Rafique, Member National Assembly Begum Rana Mubashar and former MPA Rana Mubashar, secretaries of Communication & Works and Health departments, Commissioner Lahore Division, Director General LDA, Talha Barki, Chairman Board of Trustees Recep Tayyip Erdogan Hospital Mian Muhammad Ahsan, Board of Trustees, Chief Executive Officer Indus Hospital Dr Abdul Bari and philanthropists attended the meeting.
