Protest of Sindh Small Industries Corporation's (SSIC) employee entered 59th day on Wednesday against non-payment of their salaries and other benefits. The demo is being staged outside Hyderabad Press Club (HPC) where around 20 employees of corporation participated. They chanted slogans against the management of corporation and were holding banners and placards inscribed with slogans demanding an immediate release of their salaries.
Despite holding consecutive 59 days protest, the Sindh government did not take any action against the management of corporation for release of their salaries and other benefits to them so far, said Noor Muhammad Khoso. "Employees of other departments received their salaries and their families are seen busy in shopping for Eid but unfortunately we are protesting for the release of our salaries," he added.
