The city's temperature is gradually losing heat as the met office on Wednesday forecast a partly cloudy weather for the next 24 hours with winds to tear at a speed of 20 nautical miles an hour. The metropolis, which temperature touched a decade high of 45 degrees Celsius last month killing at least 1100 people from heat-stroke, is expected to have a rather mild weather of maximum 35 degrees in the next 24 hours.
A very hot and humid weather is also forecast in the most parts of Sindh in next 24 hours, as the office said that "seasonal low lies over north Balochistan and adjoining areas with its trough extending south-eastwards. Moderate moist currents are penetrating into upper and central parts of the country and likely to continue during next 24 hours". Weather in most parts of Punjab and Islamabad is also expected to remain mainly hot and dry. But, rain-thundershower is expected at isolated places in Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Gujranwala and Lahore divisions during evening and night.
In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is also likely to remain mainly hot and dry weather in its most parts. However, rain-thundershower may hit isolated places in Hazara division and FATA during evening and night. Balochistan's weather is expected to remain widely hot and dry. However, rain-thundershower is expected at isolated places in Zhob division during evening and night. In Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan, rain-thundershower is expected at isolated paces in next 24 hours.
