Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif Wednesday met representatives of welfare associations here at the Chief Minister House and discussed their philanthropic activities. The Prime Minister was appreciative of their services to the humanity and selfless work to mitigate the sufferings of the people. He urged philanthropists to help these organisations through their donations to reach out to the poorest of the poor.
Those who met the Prime Minister included Dr Abdul Bari (Indus Hospital), Ramzan Cheepa of Cheepa Trust, Faisal Edhi of Edhi Foundation, Shakeel Dehlvi of Alamgir Trust, Yousuf of Sailani Welfare Trust and Dr Ghaffar Billoo of H.A.N.D.S. Governor Sindh, Dr Eshrat Ul Ibad Khan; Minister for Interior, Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan; Minister for Climate Change, Mushahidullah Khan; Minister for Information, Pervaiz Rasheed; Minister for SAFRON, Lieutenant General Abdul Qadir Baloch (Retd); MOS for Health, Saira Afzal Tarar; Chairman NDMA along with members of the Sindh Cabinet and senior federal and provincial government officials also attended the meeting.
