Former President and Pakistan Peoples' Party Co-Chairman Asif Ali Zardari has grieved over a train accident that derailed near Gujranwala on Thursday killing 12 people dead and several others injured.
In a statement he said the news shocked him. Reports said the train apparently fell into a canal after derailing a bridge near Gujranwala where the train's three compartments had crashed into it.
The dead also included a lieutenant colonel and his family and other army personnel.-PR
