The Met Office on Thursday forecast cloudy and windy weather for the city during the next 24 hours. Temperature is expected to remain between 33 degrees Celsius and 35 degrees Celsius with humidity ranging from 50 percent to 60 percent. The office said there were chances of drizzles in the coastal areas of the metropolis during night and morning hours.
"Seasonal low lies over north Balochistan and adjoining areas with its trough extending eastwards. Light to moderate moist currents are penetrating into upper and central parts of the country and likely to continue during next 24 hours," it said in its weather summary.
More rain-thundershowers are expected at scattered places in Bahawalpur, Multan and DG Khan Divisions. Thundershowers are likely to occur at isolated places in Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Lahore, Sahiwal and Sarghodha Divisions and Islamabad during next 24 hours.
In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, more rain-thundershowers are forecast at isolated places in Malakand, Hazara, Peshawar, Kohat and Bannu Divisions and upper Fata. A very hot and humid weather is expected in most parts of Sindh during next 24 hours.
In Balochistan, more rain-thundershowers are expected at scattered places in Zhob division and at isolated places in Quetta division. Hot and dry weather is expected in other parts of the province.
In Kashmir, more rain-thundershowers are expected at isolated places. In Gilgit-Baltistan, partly cloudy weather is expected in most parts during next 24 hours.
