Hyderabad Forest Workers Union has demanded that the process of allotment and other formalities related to Employees Housing Society (EHS) should immediately be expedited and completed. Leaders of Forest Workers Union of Forest Department Sindh said this while addressing a press conference at the Forest Office, here on Thursday.
"The issue of EHS has been pending for the last seven years and the process of plotting and other formalities were not finalised so far," said leaders of union Muhammad Gumro, Shams Khoso, Ramzan Shar, Bakhat Jatoi and others said in the press conference.
Such situation still exited despite recovering million rupees from poor employees working across the Sindh, they said, adding still the formalities and requirement for society was not fulfilled.
Sitting Chief Forest Conservator, Mir Nadir Ali Talpur earlier dissolved the committee of Society and formed new committee to resolve the pending issue of society, they said.
Some Forest Officers were pressurising the Secretary of Forest Department to get themselves nominated as Chairman of new committee of society and no meeting of committee was held yet which is condemnable act, they said.
They urged higher authority to resolve issue related to the society, otherwise they would launch movement province-wide and also reveal the incidents of corruption in the department.
