Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa issued high alert with start of monsoon rains across the province. According to PDMA press release issued here on Sunday the meteorological department has predicated monsoon rains with thunderstorms over Hazara division from Sunday to Monday (5 to 6 July), while thundershowers with isolated heavy falls is also expected in most parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa from Tuesday to Friday (6 to 9 July).
The district administrations are requested to be on high alert to avoid any loss to human lives and property across the province.
PDMA, in this regard, issued high alert to all 24 districts to deal with any situation to occur minimize collateral damages in monsoon rains.
The authority is ready to cope with any eventuality and chalked out a comprehensive monsoon contingency plan.
The authority also established a control room for public guidance and information, which could be approached by that phone numbers, including 091 9213845 and 091 9213959.
