DJ Butt, who gave life to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) rallies and last year's sit-ins claims that the party owes Rs 80 million to him. According to DJ Butt, he had a daily agreement which started off at Rs 680,000 with the PTI during the Islamabad sit-in. "This daily agreement was to cover costs of arrangements and was reduced," he added. The DJ said that he is facing financial difficulties due to non-payment of his dues by PTI.
He told a TV channel that a committee had been formed by the PTI which demanded details for his expenses. "Details were provided to the committee three months ago," according to him. The DJ emphasised that he will take no legal action against PTI Chairman Imran Khan. "PTI leader Naeem-ul-Haq has assured me that dues will be cleared anytime soon," he added.
