Secretary's absence: PAC panel to lodge complaint with Senate secretariat

The sub-committee of the Public Account Committee (PAC) would write a letter to the Senate secretariat complaining about secretary Senate for not appearing in the House. The meeting of sub-committee was held on Monday with Shahida Akhtar Ali in the chair to examine the audit of Senate secretariat in the parliament house. The committee members were informed that secretary Senate was stopped by chairman senate for appearing in the Senate session.
The PAC secretariat informed the convenor committee that chairman Senate did not allow secretary Senate for appearing in the committee meeting to report it to audit objections and accounts of Senate secretariat. The convenor directed the Senate secretariat to make it mandatory for the secretary for appearing in the session of PAC. Secretary Statistics Division also failed to appear before the committee due to ill health.
