Hyderabad Car Dealers Association (HCDA) staged a protest demonstration against the imposition of 0.6 percent tax outside Hyderabad Press Club (HPC) on Monday. A large number of people participated, who were carrying placards and banners inscribed with demands of tax withdrawal. On the occasion, leaders of the HCDA told the media persons that the tax of 0.6 per cent was affecting the business activities and it increased the cost of doing business.
They urged the government to repeal it and create business friendly environment. They further said that on July 7 (today), the HCDA would stage a province-wide protest against the imposition of tax. They appealed the government to repeal it to provide a relief to car dealers.
