Pakistan Cotton Ginners Association (PCGA) has strongly condemned the murder of a senior member of PCGA, owner of Al-Qaim Cotton Ginning Factory Uch Sharif Khawaja Sajid Raza and demanded immediate arrest of the killers. Khawaja Sajid Raza was kidnapped on January 22, 2015 for ransom from his factory and he was killed on June 16, 2015. The police did not try to recover him from the clutches of the kidnappers.
Chairman of PCGA Hafeez Anwar, Vice Chairman Rao Sadaruddin Chairman of Ginners Group Haji Muhammad Akram, Shehzad Ali Khan ,Chaudhry Masud A Majeed, Haji Muhammad Ibrahim, Suhail Mehmood Haral,Waheed Akhtar,Sheikh Muhammad Saeed, Sheikh Aasim Saeed,Amanullah Qureshi, Khawaja Riaz Hussain Siddiqui, Mian Mehmood Ahmed, Khawaja Ashfaq Hussain, Khawaja Atique-ur-rehman and Khawaja Muhammad Farooq threatened to launch a countrywide protest if the killers were not held. They said that Sajid Raza was a member of think-tank of PCGA and he was a peace loving person but the police did nothing to save his life.
