City District Government Lahore on Wednesday (CDGL) during its drive against overcharging and hoarding in Ramazan, chalaned 102 shopkeepers besides imposing fine worth Rs 133,200 on violators of the Price Act. CDGL special price control magistrates raided on 1276 shops in various areas of the city including Ramazan Bazaars and open market and inspected price of commodities at local level. As many as 133 persons were got arrested out of which 43 were sent to prison for three days after summary trial on the spot.
